Who writes

Articles are produced by the editorial team and reviewed by the editor in charge, Letícia SCAA. Every piece goes through a content, sources and clarity review before it's published.

How we write

• The first sentence of every article is the answer. If you're in a hurry, you can stop there.
• When we use research, we cite the author and year. When there's no research, we talk about experience and rules of thumb, and we say so.
• We don't accept free products in exchange for coverage. Buying recommendations follow the criteria described in each guide: fit, fabric, construction and cost per wear.
• We fix errors as soon as we hear about them. If you find one, write to the editorial team.

How the site pays for itself

The site is free to read. It's supported in three ways: affiliate links in some buying guides (see our affiliate disclosure), ads, and the Vulori app, which belongs to the same group and appears at the end of articles.
